We want to say a HUGE Thank You to Jackie Fisher for giving us copies of her poetry and story books for us to add to our library stock.
Jackie’s first poem was created at the age of eight when she discovered her love of poetry. She came up with her book title at the age of 13, during a conversation with her mother, when Jackie mentioned she would one day publish a collection of poems and entitle it Thoughts of The Mind. Now Jackie is writing for children and adults!
Come to our Poetry Pop Up on February 15th for all children aged 7-11 where Jackie will do some readings from her books and then help us to write our own poems! Book on Eventbrite.
