Christmas Hampers Giveaway

This Christmas we are giving away lots of luxury Christmas hampers to bless those in our community who have been heroes, are in need, or those that have had a particularly difficult year. This year has been difficult for many, so we really want to be able to bless as many people as possible who may have had a difficult year.

How you can get involved:

Nominate someone you know to receive a Christmas hamper from Blackfen Community Library. You can nominate someone in the community who you think is in need of cheering up this Christmas. Maybe someone who is unwell, has been affected financially or suffered a bereavement. Or, it could be a nomination for a ‘local community hero’ – someone who always goes the extra mile for others and someone you would like to thank for their contribution to the community during this difficult time. You can not nominate someone if they received a hamper last year.

We expect there to be a large number of applications, and as much as we would love to be able to treat all nominees, we are only able to offer 10 hampers. Please can you therefore include clear reasons for your nomination. A panel of Blackfen Community Library members will be reviewing all of the applications and will make decisions on how we allocate the hampers.

A big thanks to New Generation Church for funding the hampers this year.

Nominations close at 5pm on Tuesday 13th December 2022.

The lucky winners can collect their hampers from the library, or have them delivered to their home, on Saturday 17th December 2022.
