In partnership with the charity Kintsugi Hope, we are launching a new course which will take place at Blackfen Community Library. Kintsugi Hope is a charity launched by Patrick Regan and his wife that aims to break our silence surrounding the topic of mental health and mental wellbeing. We will be running a weekly group that aims to provide a safe space where we can all talk openly and honestly about struggles and support each other in a non-judgemental way. Kintsugi is a Japanese art form which takes broken pottery and repairs them using gold. From something broken, they create something even more unique and beautiful. We all have scars and areas where we are broken but we do not have to hide these and they can make us more beautiful and resilient.

The course will run for 12 weeks beginning on Monday 19th September. Each week we will be looking at a different theme and exploring how we can maintain positive mental and emotional wellbeing. The aim of the course is to grow together in confidence, wellbeing and an increased sense of self-worth. Doors open 7.45pm, we will start at 8pm and be finishing around 9pm.
