The founder of freesoftwareforstudents was teaching in Central London when he came up with this idea. Many of his students were on free school meals at the time, so spending money on Software to access Digital Learning was a complete no-no! He started finding legal, free alternatives and gave them away. 15 years later, he’s still going!
Now all kids can be making fantastic presentations, getting homework and assignments done using word-processing, videos, sound, spreadsheets, databases, artwork, web pages and many more tools which are constantly being developed by hundreds of developers around the world.
